This lawsuit was filed against AIPC Energy by mud operations workers that it paid using a “day rate pay plan, with no overtime premium, and that it had classified as independent contractors. Filed as a collective action, this case seeks to recover unpaid back overtime wages for the entire class of Solids Control Consultants, Mud Engineers and other similar workers employed by AIPC who were not paid time and a half for all hours worked in excess of forty per workweek.
